History

    • Lara Intl. has begun its activities in Mosul as sub-contractor of AKFEN when US Army first entered Iraq. We built and ran the first DFAC in Mosul, performed various constructing projects in Mosul.
    • Lara Int. has established its Branch Office in Camp Anaconda in 2003. First worked as the Sub-Contractor of All-Morrell. We have constructed steel buildings, renovated old and damaged buildings by providing labor, all kinds of materials and equipments. We renovated 12 buildings, 1 church and 1 metal constructed warehouse in Anaconda.In addition ; we provided 1500 workers from Nepal, Philippines and India to KULAK Construction Company. We have provided approximately 8000 Philippines and Nepalies workers to KBR/Iraq since 2003.
    • We have installed concrete batch plants and rock crushing facilities in Al-Asad AB in 2005.
    • Since 2005, we have being working as one of the main contractors of US Military for concrete, concrete barriers, concrete pads, renovation of buildings, tent supply and installation, fence installation, prefabricated building supply and installation, container supply and installation contracts.
    • During the years between 2005 - 2009, Lara has been working as one of the contractors of U.S. Government Marine Contracting Office in military bases such as Al-Asad Airbase, Al-Taqaddum Air Base, Felluce FOB Base in Iraq. Our company accomplished renovation of existing facilities accompanied with new designed infrastructure. Also, set up concrete batch plants, produced concrete, force protection barriers and provided gravel for the US Seabees and Red Horse.
    • During the years between 2009-2014 ,Lara has been working in Afghanistan We've mobilized in Kandahar Air Field (NATO Air Base), FOB Shank (Logar Province), Farah City in Afghanistan. We are still working as the contractor of US Army Corps of Engineers and ECC (Environmental Chemical Corporation) in Afghanistan.
    • Besides we have been one of the main suppliers of US Military and other US companies like KBR in Iraq for all kinds of dry/frozen food, non-food items. We were in charge of the complete supply chain of each unit supplied including warehousing, materials handling and all logistics operations. The materials that are provided from US-Market were stocked in our warehouse located in New Jersey, USA and transported via ocean and air to our warehouse in Aegean Free Zone-Turkey in where the products from European and local market/Turkey are combined. The majority of the stocks in our warehouses are provided from the US-Companies such as Grainger mostly, Home Depot, Office Depot, Lab Safety-LSS and Mc-Master Carr.
