Project Description: The project consists of the design and construction of the Counter Narcotics Police of Afghanistan (CNPA) Forward Operating Base (FOB) in Kandahar, Afghanistan. The CNPA FOB facility is planned (for the purposes of this contract) to have a total equivalent full time population of 420 persons. 

The DEA compound shall house a 15 man private barracks, a small MWR building, and parking for 10 SUV sized vehicles. The CNPA part of the compound shall consist of (1) Administration Building, (2) Open Bay Barracks, (1) Toilet/Shower/Ablution/Laundry Facility, (1) Western Style Dining Facility, and (1) Ammunition Supply Point as base bid items. Additional structures shall be provided as indicated below as part of force protection measures and to house utility components: (1) Training Building, (1) Vehicle Maintenance Building, (1) POL Building and (1) 25 Man Private Barracks shall each be separate bid option items. In addition to the facilities indicated, lay out the site to accommodate (1) helipad for (1) CH-47 with a parking apron for (3) CH-47’s and parking for 30 SUV sized vehicles.
