Project Description: The project consists of the design and construction of a single new building at the Afghanistan Engineer District South (AES), FOB Lindsey, Kandahar Province, Afghanistan. The building to be provided under this contract is for one (1) Billeting Building with integral toilet-shower rooms and laundry areas. The contractor shall use Government furnished concept design to complete design and construction documents and to construct the facilities. The buildings shall be constructed using pre-manufactured “knock down”(
dismantled ) and ready to assemble Containerized Housing Units, also known as ReLocatable Building units or RLBs. Final placement of the buildings on the site shall be as directed by the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
